An extending dining table that seats up to twelve people. The butterfly extension leaf is stowed in the under-frame of the table when not required. To operate, simply turn the lock on each side of the table that prevents the table tops from parting when in the non-extended position, then part the two sections and swing the leaf up from its stowed position. The under-frame has six legs, which are set in from the table's edge in order to give unobstructed legroom and also permit armchairs to be pushed under the table when not in use. This table features a wide centre rail, which is drilled to allow the use of a parasol with a pole of up to 61mm/2.5" in diameter. This table is supplied with a teak parasol hole cap, so that the table may optionally be used without a parasol, and with a teak reducer ring to facilitate the use of parasols with a 38mm/1.5" pole diameter.
